Mariner's Draft Survey (“the app”) is a professional tool for calculating cargo quantities during draft surveys on bulk carriers. This policy explains how the app handles your information.
Data we process
All data you create in the app — vessel profiles, hydrostatic tables, tank tables, draft readings, surveys, and generated reports — is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. None of it is sent to us or to any third party.
When you import a spreadsheet (Excel/CSV) or export a PDF report, those files are read from and written to your own device storage. The app does not upload them anywhere.
Data we collect
None. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and makes no network connections.
Permissions
The app requests access to files only when you choose to import a spreadsheet or save/share a PDF report. This access is used solely for that action.
Data retention and deletion
Because all data is stored locally, you remain in full control. You can delete any survey or vessel profile within the app, or remove all data by uninstalling the app.
Children's privacy
The app is intended for maritime professionals and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new “Last updated” date.
